Squid Balls Soup

Ingredients :
  • 50 grams squid balls (1/2 cup chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped white onions
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, cut into strips
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pack Lucky Me Instant Noodles (Itnok)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Chinese petchay
  • 1 egg, boiled and peeled and quartered
NOTE: You may garnish the soup with:
  • 2 teaspoons chopped spring onions, sibuyas na mura
  • 1 teaspoon toasted chopped garlic

Cooking Instructions :
  1. In a small saucepan, sauté onions for 1 minute. Add ginger, and sauté for another minute.
  2. Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add Lucky Me Instant Noodles (Itnok) and boil for 3 minutes.
  3. Add Lucky Me Instant Noodles (Itnok) condiment pack and Chinese petchay. Mix well. Heat for about a minute. Ladle soup into bowls and top with slices of hard boiled egg. Serve.
  4. You may garnish the soup with toasted garlic, and spring onions before serving.
