Tom Yam Gung
Ingredients :
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/4 cup minced shallots sibuyas tagalong
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped lemon grass, tanglad
- 1/4 teaspoon finely chopped siling labuyo or red chili
- 2 cups water
- 1 pack Lucky Me! Instant Chicken Mami
- 1 tablespoon calamansi juice (approx. 3 pieces calamansi)
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped green onions, sibuyas na mura
- 3 pieces shrimps, peeled and without heads
- 1/4 cup canned straw mushrooms *optional*
Cooking Instructions :
- In a small saucepan, heat oil. Add sibuyas tagalog and sauté for about a minute. Add lemon grass and red chili. Sauté for another minute.
- Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add Lucky Me! Instant Chicken Mami noodles and boil for 3 minutes.
- Add Lucky Me! Instant Chicken Mami condiment pack, calamansi juice, sugar, chopped green onions, shrimps and straw mushrooms. Stir to mix well and cook for a minute more or just until shrimps turn pink. Garnish with cilantro leaves (wansuy), if desired. Serve hot.
